The Southeast Regional Council of Governments (SEMCOG) travel demand model was updated to incorporate a new mode choice model and an air passenger model.  Ms. Harper (assisting Parsons Brinckerhoff) modified TransCAD scripts to allow for forecasting travel on modes that did not exist in the previous model (commuter rail, light rail and bus rapid transit), incorporating the ability to automatically generate evaluation measures, and setting up FTA’s Summit program to calculate user benefits for use in the local alternatives analysis.  Ms. Harper developed model related performance measures, and provided the final forecasting report.  Five alternatives were evaluated.
